Chapter 18

After our last class before the weekend Matt and I break the news that we got an A on our presentation.

"No way you guys passed" Chris says as we get in the car.

"I was shocked when she passed us back our grading rubric" Matt placed his hand on his heart before turning on the engine and getting the hell off of school grounds.

"Turns out Ekin Pecking is a big daddy Nolan fan" I shrug my shoulders.

"I wouldn't of thought she'd be a Chris Nolan fan" Eriss laughs.

"Definitely not" Nick agrees.

"I think you guys deserve to meet Christopher Nolan after your outstanding grade" Ash informs with a smile.

"I one hundred percent agree" Chris dabs him up from the passenger seat.

Matt drops Eriss and Ash off at Ash's house because they're having a little Friday night date night fiasco which Nick thinks is the cutest thing ever.

Matt drives the rest of us back to their house because I do not feeling like sitting in my own sorrow alone right now.

As we walk in the front door I'm greeted with one of the biggest shocks of my life.

"Justin?!" I yell as I run up to him and wrap him in a huge hug.

"Hey Scarlett" He laughs as he wraps his arms around me.

"I haven't seen you in forever" i say with wide eyes as I step away.

"How have you been?" He asks me.

"Shits crazy but I've been good" I smile.

"That's good. Keeping my boys in line?" He laughs.

"Always. Never a break with these ones" I throw my thumb over my shoulder to point to the boys behind me.

"Tell me about it" he rolls his eyes as we walks behind me to say hello to his brothers.

"What's up J" Chris says as he hugs his brother.

I walk away to let them have their moment to go and find Marylou.

"Hey guys!" I say as I walk into the kitchen not only being greeted by Marylou but by Jim aswell.

"Hey Scarlett how's it goin'?" Jim asks as he gives me a high five.

"It's good" I smile. "Wow I'm really getting the whole family package today" I laugh as I walk around the kitchen island to hug Marylou.

"You really are. Came at a good time" Marylou laughs as the boys walk in the kitchen.

"Listen boys I have a little weekend proposition to make" Jim clasps his hands together as I take a seat at one of the barstools. "I thought it would be fun if we all went on a nice little fishing trip down the coast for the weekend. Scarlett can come too even though I don't know how much joy you'd get in fishing but it could be a little learning experience" He shrugs his shoulders.

"Yeah that sounds awesome" Chris smiles.

"I'm not too keen on the fishing part but it sounds fun" Nick agrees.

"Yeah I'm in" Justin shrugs his shoulders.

"Same" Matt agrees.

"It sounds fun but I'd have to go home and talk to my parents first but I'm sure they won't mind" I smile.

"Awesome! We'd leave first thing tomorrow morning. Matt drive Scarlett home to talk to her parents and we'll discuss further once we know their answer" Jimmy claps his hands together.
