"..."
A golden light began to glow in the pure darkness, taking a life with it into what could have been some kind of new realm. A realm of darkness.
"Zelda..."
The voice grew louder and more firm with each time it spoke the name of the queen. A golden light enveloped her form, with nothing but pure darkness surrounding her, and that gold ran through her veins.
"Zelda."
The queen could hear the words and see the one who spoke them in a dreamlike sense. The voice that rang in her ears was familiar to her as if it was the first voice she had ever heard. She had a vision of five spirits floating around her, all golden except one. One was dark power, and hardly able to be seen.
The golden spirit that was in front of her had presented itself to her before in dreams, but this felt just slightly less than a dream.
"Zelda, please..."
She heard a different voice. The voice that always made her feel safe.
"I promise I've got you my love... you're safe now..."
The spirit before her glowed brightly, and it blinded her with its light. She felt that light around her, and once it was at its brightest, she felt herself take a breath. And then it faded into darkness.

"And then I woke up in the sanctum." My mom said after her story, and I watched Robbie and Purah scribble something down her their journals. I scooted closer to her and she began to rub up and down my arm, and she looked up at my father, who was on her other side with one arm around her and his other hand holding hers.
"Interesting..." Purah hummed as she read over all of the notes she had taken over the course of the last half hour, and she and Robbie exchanged notes to see what they had together. "So I've gathered that your power must have disconnected you from your body, leaving your life hanging by a thread."
"Perhaps it was a reaction to the malice overcoming you. A way to protect you." Robbie flipped the page over and scribbled some more of his theories down, and my mother nodded in agreement with their ideas.
"I think this happened when I was holding down the Calamity, too. I knew what was going on, and I was able to watch over Link. But I knew I wasn't all the way there, and while I stayed alive, it still feels like a part of me died each time." She sighed as my father kissed her head, and she squeezed his hand tighter. "I'm sorry if I gave you all a scare."
"The worst kind," My father breathed, wiping a tear from his eye. "But it doesn't matter now, what matters now is that you're alright." She looked up at him, and he leaned over to kiss her lips. She pulled her arm away from me for a moment and wrapped it around my father's neck as he pulled away, and he held her in a tight embrace.
I shivered in my spot as I sniffled, feeling more tears threatening to spill as I saw how tight my parents held each other, but then I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked to see Ellet now sitting beside me, and he opened his arms. I hugged him, and he quietly consoled me. I was still shaken up from everything that happened earlier. And not to mention, my wrists were now sore.
"How did so many deaths happen yesterday without anyone actually dying?" Azu asked, and everyone sighed and shrugged. "Ida, you alright?" He got up and sat down where Ellet and I were, and he opened his arms for me.
"I'm okay." I fell into them, and he hugged me tight. My mother pulled away from my father and sat back down, but he quickly grabbed her hand again and held it close to him. Everyone was silent for a few minutes while Robbie and Purah made a board to examine their theories.
