Chapter 5: The possibly new "normal"

*Kai pov*
I woke up at 6.38 a.m. I don't know why did I wake up so early and then I realized the reason for it
I hear- well more like feel- as kelvin keep talking to herself under breath about the stuff she fears can happen to me ever though we both know her existence will go no further than a power addition and a side voice. For god... Well more like for your sake girl calm down I beg you. I am fine like the rain

'Phew! Good, sorry I just have very low confidence and self esteem. Could you.. Possibly give me a small talk about how are you feeling in the mornings? '

Like a morning report?

'Precisely'

I got out of bed and slowly started to move to the bathroom to start my daily routine. When kelvin wanted to do a strange thing for some reason

'Hey! Wanna check on zane? '

And the reason for it?

'First: me being the God of reason doesn't mean I can't do stupid shit.
Second: you didn't even look properly at the man's face, I want to see what you found so special about him'

I love him due to his personality not outer look... But you know what? If you request then why not?

I went to the door of Zane's room which was two dorms away from the bathroom. I slowly opened the door seeing zane shut down

You sure he won't wake up any second now?

'Idk. You are the new AOH now, one of our abilities is to be able to see technological things not by the outer shell but by the binary codes they are programmed with. Read when he programmed his system to activate.'

Wait! I really can do stuff like that!? That's so cool! Okay then I am going to.. Try reading him as you said. Can you explain to me what a "AOH" is

I began trying to read his codes like kelvin told me and it actually worked out. There were multiple pannels that had code and settings of multiple kind kind of like the sci-fi movies. I begin to try and find which one is the systems activation timer while kelvin begins to explain

'AOH is just a short version of my former title 'the aeon of harmony' all of the others used to call each other by the shorter version of they title like 'the aeon of hunt' was Aoh, 'the aeon of erudition' was Aoe, so on'

I Started to just look at zane and adore every single part of his face. His blondish white hair, the way the connection lines of his face plates are like  a mirror reflection of the other, the unscathed titanium on his face and the soft and calm smile despite the iron skin-
'Wow! You really Do love this man don't you? Though I must confess he doesn't look particularly bad’

I slowly but quickly (k is that a real thing? It feels like it is) get out of the room and close the door behind me. Then I went to the bathroom and used the toilet, washed my hand, did my hair and basically everything else people do in there. Then I heard 3 times knocking on the door and then jay came in.

Jay: oh! Morning kai! It's been a while since we talked yeh? What u up to?

I believe it would not be a bad idea to tell him the truth, after all he is the one that has been in a relationship the longest. His experience might come in handy.

Kai: To be honest it's a little bit embarrassing but.. I plan on confessing to Someone. May I ask for your advice?

Jay:YOU ARE KIDDING!? How is she!? Is she skyler~? It IS skyler isn't it
