this poem is about a mother losing her child.

A child is a precious gift

But mine was snatched away

A source of joy and wonder

But now I only see grey

Life is cruel and unfair

And took away my dreams

A child is gone too soon

And nothing is as it seems

I cry and weep and mourn

But no one hears my pain

I feel a void inside

And nothing can fill the gap

I am alone and lost

There is no one who understands

They have not walked my path

They don't know how it feels

They say there is no closure

But there is only despair

A child is never forgotten

But I wish they were still here

I will always miss them

And suffer in my heart

Until the day I die

And join them in the dark.
