This poem is about the someone's loneliness and desire for friendship. The person feels alienated and invisible in the society and struggles to find someone who would appreciate and understand them.

I walk alone in the crowded streets

No one knows me or cares to greet

I have no friends to share my joys or woes

No one to listen or understand my lows

I long for connection and a sense of belonging

But all I find is rejection and a feeling of longing

I wonder if there is something wrong with me

Why can't I fit in or find someone who sees me

I feel lonely and isolated in this world of strangers

I wish I could find a friend who would stay and not waver

Someone who would accept me for who I am

Someone who would make me feel less of a sham

But until then, I keep walking alone

Hoping that someday, I will find my home.
