This poem is about two people talking to each other from different timelines.

We talk across the wires of time

But never seem to meet

You live in a world that's not mine

And I in one you can't greet

We share our thoughts and feelings

But never touch or see

You tell me of your past and dreams

And I of my hopes and fears

We wonder if we'll ever find

A way to bridge the gap

You say you wish you could rewind

And I that I could leap

We love each other from afar

But never know for sure

You are my distant shining star

And I your faithful moon.
