The poem describes how the person imagines that their sibling, who died in an accident, is still alive and with them. The person enjoys spending time with their imaginary sibling, but also feels some signs that something is not right. The poem suggests that the person will eventually have to face the truth and grieve for their sibling, which will be very hard and painful.

He always hangs out with his sibling

They laugh and play and share their dreams

He thinks he has the best companion

But nothing is as it seems

His sibling died in a tragic accident

A long time ago, when he was young

His brain forgot the painful memory

And created a new one

He lives in a fantasy world

Where his sibling is still alive

He doesn't know the truth

He doesn't want to realize

But sometimes he feels a pang of sadness

A hint of something wrong

He wonders why his sibling never grows up

Why they sing the same old song

He tries to ignore the doubts

He tries to keep the illusion

He thinks he needs his sibling

To cope with his confusion

But one day he will have to face reality

One day he will have to let go

One day he will have to mourn his sibling

And accept what he already knows.
