This poem is about friendship and betrayal.
We were friends since we were kids
We shared our dreams and fears
We laughed and cried and played and fought
We grew up through the years
We trusted each other with our secrets
We supported each other in our goals
We were there for each other in good and bad
We were two halves of a whole
But then you changed and turned on me
You lied and cheated and betrayed
You stabbed me in the back and broke my heart
You threw our friendship away
Now I don't know who you are anymore
You are a stranger in my eyes
You are the enemy that I despise
You are the friend that I deny.
