This poem is about regret.
I wish I could undo the things I've done
The words I've said, the hurt I've caused
The chances I've missed, the bridges I've burned
The dreams I've abandoned, the love I've lost
I wish I could erase the memories that haunt me
The mistakes I've made, the guilt I feel
The scars I've left, the wounds I've opened
The lies I've told, the truth I've concealed
I wish I could change the person I've become
The choices I've made, the path I've taken
The habits I've formed, the flaws I've shown
The promises I've broken, the trust I've shaken
But wishing is futile, and time is relentless
It doesn't rewind, it doesn't forgive
It only moves forward, and so must I
With hope in my heart, and grace in my live.
