This poem is about coping with the death of a loved one and finding comfort in the stars. It expresses the feelings of sadness, longing, hope and gratitude that one might experience after losing someone close. It also conveys the idea that the person who died is still alive in some way, in the memories and hearts of those who knew them, and in the stars that shine above them.

When someone we love leaves this world

We face a loss that can't be told

We seek for solace in our pain

We long for some kind of gain

We stare at the celestial dome

And wonder if they found a home

We wish they're looking down on us

And sending us their warmth and trust

We recall the moments we had

The joy and sorrow we expressed

We treasure every memory

And hold them in our souls endlessly

We know they're not really far

They live on in our minds and hearts

They're still a part of who we are

They're always with us in the stars.
