This poem is about someone who has moved into a new apartment complex, but he soon realizes that his neighbors are all psychos who are trying to kill him. He becomes paranoid and isolated, and he loses his sense of self and humanity. He feels like he has no way out of this horror.

I moved into a new apartment

Hoping to start a fresh life

But little did I know

That I was stepping into a nightmare

Every night I hear them

The neighbors who want me dead

They bang on the walls and doors

They whisper threats and curses

I can't sleep, I can't eat

I can't trust anyone

They are watching me, waiting for me

To make a fatal mistake

I don't feel alive anymore

I'm just a shell of a man

Paranoid, terrified, numb

Trapped in this hellish complex.
