It was the day of the festival. Isekai got out of his bedroom, looking a bit sleepy. He realizes he is late for school, but at this point, he frankly couldn't care less.

He was walking through the halls of his house when he noticed something wasn't right. In the hallway was a small table with a flower vase. It was absent. He shakes his head and thinks nothing of it for now. As he walks downstairs, he notices that breakfast is already on the table. He pulls out his phone, and as he turns it on, the screen starts glitching, and then, out of nowhere, the phone itself glitches out of existence.

"...Oh." Isekai comments. he stands up and goes to his bedroom to look for his motorcycle keys. As he grabs them, something breaks down the door. It's a person, a heavily distorted one. "REEAAAAAAAAAAGH!" it screeches, charging at Isekai. "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU?!" he questions, creating a wall out of light to block them, followed by an energy wave blowing a hole in their chest. After more screeching, the glitched person fades out of existence.

"I don't rec- ugh... no, no more thoughts to spare. I HAVE TO LEAVE... NOW!" he thought, rushing outside to get on the motorcycle. He starts the ignition and drives away. "I have to hurry... I have to get there, now!" Isekai says to himself, going full throttle. Unfortunately, the motorcycle and its keys glitch out of existence together, which leaves Isekai tumbling on the ground. He shakes it off, and starts to sprint.

More of the world behind him begins to crumble into glitch, then binary, then nothing. He is, however, able to outrun the spread. He reaches Masahiro's house, and just as he is about to reach Sayori's, he notices a figure resembling her at the window in the Hiatari Residence just next door. "...that can't be," he mutters.

He squints a little closer, and he notices that the person is swaying side to side, if somehow completely immobile. "Oh no... oooooh no..." he mutters to himself, rushing towards the gate. He kicks it down without effort, and the front door's end follows too. He looks for the stairs, and jumps up to the second floor without difficulties.

"Please, please, *PLEASE* be okay!" he begs mentally, tackling the door. However, it seems that the code prevented him from being able to break it open. "The fuck? GRAH!" he questions, grunting as he punches it.

Outside...

Masahiro had come back to his house. "Sayori hasn't shown up to school today. Why... is that?" he questions, noticing that the gate was kicked down. "Huh? Why is..." he further questions, realizing that even the front door was broken through. He could hear grunting upstairs, in Isekai's voice.

"Isekai? Why is he here...?" he asks himself. As his foot takes a step on the stairs, Isekai's spine shivers. Masahiro peeks around the corner, and he is surprised to see his friend, tired and worn out. "Why are you here? You're already late for school, shouldn't you be preparing?" he questions him. "...I'm... trying to open this door... but it's locked..." Isekai replies, tired. Masahiro walks over and twists the knob. "It's not locked, what do you mean?" he questions. Isekai is confused.

He gently opens the door.
