"Stop it with the confusion; the truth is that love and hate will always go with each other, dear." - Unknown

"Sibyl..." I stopped drinking my drink. Merlin, why is it always me?

"Astoria... Hey." I turned around and put on the fakest smile I could. Astoria and I never got along. Her family was a part of Voldemort's 'group.' She wasn't one of them... Well, that I was aware of, but I knew her brother was one. She was always angry that I stayed at the Malfoy's house. Their families were friends, so Astoria would come over to the manor every now and then.

"Have you seen Draco?"

" No... Why would I?"

"Figured you'd keep tabs on him... Considering your friendship." She gave me a slight glare as she smiled at me. I rolled my eyes before downing whatever I had left of my drink.

"For your information... I do not care what your little boyfriend does and doesn't do. If you can't find him, go check the astronomy tower or some shit."

"How would you know the astronomy tower? He's only ever taken me there." She took a step forward towards me... I'm assuming she was trying to scare me off, but nothing of her sort can scare me.

"Bloody hell. You need to get a grip Astoria... The only reason I ever been up there was because I've been up there by MYSELF. Now go find him, I don't give a shit." She gripped her cup a small bit as I pushed past her. As I walked back over to Pansy, Blaise stopped me and made me chug from a different bottle. This time, I knew for sure it was Vodka, from the muggle world.

From the amount I had chugged, the liquor was starting to catch up with me. As I made my way over the Carter, a hand grabbed my wrist. I turned and long behold, there was Astoria's little boyfriend.

"Bloody hell... What now? Why is it always me."

"Huh?"

"Your little girlfriend is looking for you. Go find her before I get in trouble for finding you first." I ripped my wrist out of his grasp and continued walking over to Carter. Once he realized I was walking over to him, he smiled. He grabbed my wrist and began to twirl me to the music.

"Where's Pansy?" I asked Carter as he pulled me into him. He shrugged his shoulders as we continued dancing. I have to admit, Carter was growing on me. I'm sad that after the tournament he needs to go back to Durmstang. Having Carter around made my life so much easier. As we danced through the music, it was almost like no one was there.

It was just me and him at that moment. No one else mattered besides who was with me. I laughed as we danced together. I couldn't contain my laughter as we jumped and moved our bodies in sync.

I couldn't even tell what song was playing, nor did I care, but the next thing I knew, our lips touched. Fireworks went through my body. I smiled as I wrapped my hands around his neck. He picked me up and twirled me. I never laughed this hard or felt this loved by anyone.

Maybe it was the alcohol talking, but they always said alcohol makes you talk about your true thoughts. Sure, I did love Cedric and there were feelings like no other with him, but with Carter? It was different.

"Okay okay." I giggled as he put me down.

"I need to go find Pansy. I haven't seen her in a while and I'm getting worried."

"Have you checked her room? I haven't seen her in a while either. She just kind of disappeared." My stomach turned at Carter's sentence. Pansy never left without telling me where she was going. I turned around the room trying to find any trace of her face. Lights were flashing, and people dancing, but I couldn't find her. There was only one person I felt would know where she went more than anyone.
