The portal used by Stolas's Grimoire was what Cody would call simple and clean. Alastor's magic portal was dark, red, and gloomy like his magic, but it got them to where they needed to go. Charlie's hotel was truly a sight to behold, even here in Hell. The main structure of the building looked somewhat normal with its evenly set arched windows, turrets, and decorative stone patterns.

There were neon light signs that said 'hotel,' flashing arrow lights, and the big light-up sign up top on the roof that said 'Hazbin Hotel.' At the front entrance were neon lights that said 'No Vacancy' with the 'No' turned off. However, other features were rather unusual like the ocean liner and sailing ship on one side, remnants of an airship with a sharp horn on the other side near the top with a carousel outside on the lower floors. There was also a train with some tracks looping the first and second floors of the outside of the hotel. There was also a small circular building almost like a castle tower that had neon lights that said 'On Air.' That's Alastor's radio tower.

The inside of the hotel was actually very nice and clean, thanks to Nifty the housekeeper. Even though Cody wasn't all that afraid of Alastor, he still found him to be very intimidating. From his red and black well-dressed elegant suit to his microphone staff to his deer ear-like hair, to his razor-sharp teeth of that ominous smile. Still, he was Charlie's business partner at the hotel and Charlie was good from Cody. Harming Cody would get Alastor on Charlie's bad side which would be bad for business for Alastor.

"Ah, there she is. What a gem. Quite the diamond in the rough, huh Cody?" Alastor nudged him.

"Yeah, it is. It's definitely creative," Cody agreed.

Alastor chuckled a laugh before rustling Cody's hair as they made their way to the hotel where Vaggie was waiting for them. Vaggie greeted Cody with a warm hug and a kind smile and Cody returned the favor.

"How are you doing kiddo?" Vaggie asked as they walked down the halls past the front desk.

"I'm alright. Blitzo hired two new assassins since they are getting more and more work. How's everything here at the hotel?" Cody replied.

"Oh you know, Charlie's still figuring out ways to get people to come here. Which isn't easy, but Alastor here has some ideas using his radio tactics."

The hallway from the front entrance all the way to where they were going was full of framed photos and paintings of various people. There were ones of Charlie and her family, ones with her and her girlfriend Vaggie, and then there were ones of what looked like a different family of people. A husband & wife with a son and daughter. They had grey skin, white hair, with green eyes and teeth. Cody couldn't help but stop and stare at them which got Vaggie and Alastor's attention.

"See something interesting?" Alastor asked.

"Yeah, who's that with Charlie and her parents?" Cody pointed.

"That's the Von Eldritch family. A powerful demon royal family in the Envy Ring that takes whatever they want. Charlie grew up with them and went to Hell School with them. The handsome jerk there is Seviathan Von Eldritch, Charlie's ex-boyfriend, and his sister Helsa Von Eldritch. That woman is as mean as she is smart. Stay away from them Cody," Vaggie explained.

"I'll bear that in mind. I'll stick with you guys and our friends," Cody said.

"Good boy. Now, let's go see Charlie."

They walked to the end of the hallway to a big grand room that had more paintings on the walls, lots of comfy chairs & couches, and a large aquarium fish tank that cover the whole right wall full of demonic fish swimming in it. At the end of the wall were two bookshelves with a big fireplace in the middle. Charlie was on the couch talking to a lady demon, a very lovely lady demon.
