Time went by fast but slowly at the same time. I tried to sleep and eat, but the anxiety of what's to come took over. I'm beyond ready to start this because I will have my mate back when it's over. I will be able to breathe again once I get my mate back.
I head downstairs and out the door to meet with everyone else. Lennox is waiting for me with Elder Langston, Beta Cyrus, and a bunch of our warriors. We have a plan and are ready to go with it. It will take us about 45 minutes to get to the area of caves. We plan to travel in three groups and come from different angles. The plan is to take the site with as little bloodshed as possible. The only blood I want spilling is Laslo's, and I want to take care of it myself.
We divide into groups, and half of us in each group shift into our wolves. The rest of us get on all-terrain vehicles to back us up. They will stop a bit away from the area and pick up anyone who tries to flee.
We start to run, and I feel a surge of power with each step. It feels like I'm getting stronger the closer I get, which is absurd. I'm sure it's all in my mind, but I can't deny what I feel. We are silent on our run, no one saying anything through the mindlink. Our primary focus is to get to where we are going and to get there quickly.
We need to slow up; the caves are just up ahead.
So far, we haven't run into anyone over here.
Same with us.
The vehicles are about 10 minutes out. We should wait until they are in position before we strike.
My body is taut, and I have adrenaline running through me. I'm aware of everything around me, listing to any little sound. I stop and crouch low on the ground. I can see some movement in and out of caves, but nothing close to where we are waiting. As soon as the vehicles arrive, the time will come to take back what's mine.

I tried to rest as much as I could. I don't plan to stay here long, and I need to bring Nona. I have to find a way out of these caves, and I already know I will have to fight my way out.
I've been listening as best as I can to my surroundings, but I'm not able to hear much. I know that Nona is in a separate room, but I'm not sure if she's tied up like me. I have to find a way to get out of this chair if I'm going to escape successfully.
His scent hits me, and I try my hardest not to gag. A chair is scraped along the floor before it settles. I can feel his presence close to me, and I hope beyond hope that he doesn't try to touch me. "We need to get some things straight," I say nothing and keep my eyes closed with my head down. I really don't want to see his face. "My wolf and I have claimed you as ours. There is no getting around this; it is done. Once we make things official, we will inform the pack, and you will be introduced as their Luna."
I can feel the vomit in my throat and do what I can to keep it down. I play his words repeatedly in my mind, and the more I do, the funnier they seem. I start to giggle a bit, and before I'm aware, I'm laughing hysterically. "You and your wolf have claimed me.....have claimed me?!" I bend over further, laughing until my stomach hurts. I wince at the pain and attempt to calm myself. I sit up straight and look Laslo in his eyes. "There is no way in hell I will be your Luna or anyone else's. I'm a fucking Alpha, and NO ONE will take that from me." I can feel the anger brewing in my body and how I wish I had Aria with me. "You are weak and pathetic. I know that Cory will come, and he will end you. I'm glad that I will be about to witness it."
That did it. That set him off; Laslo jumps up and kicks his chair so hard it crashes into the wall behind him. He is on me before I can blink and pushes me against the wall in my chair. Laslo has a hand on my chest, keeping me in place. His other hand has gripped the back of my head. He has a handful of braids and has my head pulled back at an awkward angle. Laslo's face is dangerously close to mine, and I'm not sure what will keep him from snapping my neck. "You'd rather have that weakling over me?" I eye Laslo and say nothing. "I could end you right now, and no one would stop me."
"Fucking do it!" I gather what I can and spit in his face. Laslo's close, and when they open again, his eyes are black as night. "I told you before that I'd rather fucking die than be with you. End me now because that would be a better fate."
We are involved in an intense stare-down. Laslo is practically foam at the mouth in anger, and I refuse to relent. He will have to kill me because I won't live in a world where I'm not with Cory. Suddenly, Laslo smiles a sick smile. His hand on my chest grows claws. He runs a claw down the front of my dress, causing the fabric to fall to the sides. My black bustier top is exposed, and Laslo licks his lips. "I won't kill you, ever. But I will take what's mine, and I will take it by force if need be."
My heartbeat increases, and I'm taken back to that party in high school. I swore to myself that I would never be so vulnerable again, but here I am. I'm without my wolf, tied to a chair, and helpless. I look up at the ceiling and take a few deep breaths. Laslo moves his body over mine and leans his face close to mine, lips almost touching. I say a silent prayer and throw my head into his. Laslo is pushed back, blood spurting out of his nose. I start to wiggle and writhe in the chair, trying to get out of it some way. Laslo stands tall, blood falling down his chest. He stalks toward me; both hands now clawed out. I don't care what I have to do; I will fight until my last breath.
A scream interrupts everything, and I turn to the door opening. Laslo runs to the opening and looks out. I can hear a commotion, and it sounds like people are running around everywhere. "What's going on?"
"We're under attack."
