Family dinners at the Luck-Marie household were never dull. Some days they'd eat in front of the TV for days like election nights. Others they'd just eat together - once the twins had gone to college they weren't always present for the dinners but tried. Mostly because some semesters they would have to take a class during dinner time and the same would go for the parents who at times couldn't choose when their classes needed to be taught.
This specific family dinner the twins had made sure nothing would interrupt their big news. News that they hadn't even told each other which is why no one was expecting such news
Everyone had their hamburgers on their plate ready to take a bite Matthew was ready to pick up his burger until he just gets the courage to say, "I'm moving to New Orleans"
"What?" Odette questions the news settling into her mind but not understanding it
"That's not fair I'm moving to Europe," Spencer whines making the attention go to him
At the news of another child declaring they were leaving, Odette exclaims, "What?!"
"Oh um yeah..." Spencer stumbles as he wasn't expecting his news to be blurted out just like that "my news was that I'm going to be traveling Europe"
"And you both already made this decision?" Klaus asks the twins while he stole glances at his wife who wasn't taking the news so well and all ideas of eating their food thrown out the window
"Yes"
"Yup"
"When's this so-called move happening?" Odette bitterly asks hating that she wasn't told earlier or even been brought into the conversation about moving
"At the beginning of Summer," Matthew states knowing things had been made tense with not only one brother moving out but now both
Both twins being on the same page makes Spencer reply, "What he said"
"You're missing the All-Valley Tournament?" Cherish glances at her brothers who expressed their excitement to see her fight - even if it was a fight with rules
