The time had come to enter Cobra Kai's dojo for the competition, and it was intimidating. Its black and red design made things look cold but pristine and new. Looking around the teens were able to see the smoothie bar Cobra Kai had and their nice mats and take in their a/c system. It definitely sparked some jealousy within some students
The dojo with three sensei's had yet to correctly merge their dojos, so the students all either wore their white Miyagi-do gi or their red Eagle Fang gi. All the students but Anthony wore a black belt and the teens with more specific skills/wins had a stripe or extra designs on their gi.
Being in a new setting Cherish did everything she could to feel comfortable and confident, that meant doing her make-up and hair to her liking. Cherish was more comfortable with her hair down, even if it's a hot sunny day she'd wear her hair down rather than up. Her sensei's didn't understand why considering in a fight her hair could block her line of sight
It would make sense for Cherish, the girl's competitor, to be walking behind their sensei's by Eli's side. It made more sense to Cherish to walk hand in hand with Miguel who helped in calming her by just walking next to her.
There was a table set at the end of the mat where the Sekai Taikai committee were to sit to watch the fight. On opposite ends of the mat stood both dojo's which allowed everyone to see that Tory was the girls champion because she stood alone closest to the mat.
Sam and Cherish had yet to tell anyone who was going to fight, since it wasn't anything official and only the rules during the fight mattered, they kept it quiet. In keeping things a secret the two girls faced each other as they mimicked each other's stretches, really it helped Cherish to focus.
A sudden shout from Kenny directed to Robby distracts Cherish making Sam say, "Hey, ignore it"
Cherish looks around and raises her hand to her collarbone only to be reminded that she'd taken off her necklace just in case it moved during the fight. Miguel, having learned a lot of her nervous habits when puts his arm around her shoulder so she wouldn't be able to look at the Cobra Kai team. Being next Miguel Cherish instantly relaxes, "You're going to do great"
