Cherish being grounded meant no phone for a few days, then once that restriction was lifted she was still not able to leave the house without a good reason. Every reason she tried to give was not a good reason in their eyes
"Dad!" Cherish whines at the words that she was still on house arrest even if her parents just called it being grounded
"I already said no. You can only go outside if you are walking the dogs but not secret visits," Klaus states standing his ground as he packs up for work
"Mom!!" Cherish turns to her mom who is sitting on the couch watching a K-drama while a plate of chips and peanut butter rests on her heavily pregnant second-trimester belly
"My love," Odette carefully says, letting Cherish know that she wasn't going to win. "You broke into a dojo, helped to hack some servers, were in various fights, there were police involved and you broke curfew. You are not getting out of this"
"Ughhh," Cherish groans as she falls onto the couch backward bored out of her mind
Klaus and Odette share a look knowing they had been getting Cherish to do various chores around the house for the past three days to keep her busy from cleaning out her brother's room to setting up a nursery to vacuuming every room. They'd even spot her trying a yoga routine only to fall asleep - she had become that bored.
"Watch his drama with me" Odette pats the seat next to her on the sofa "Until it's time for my doctor's appointment which you'll drive me to and then I'll give you your phone back"
Turning her head to look at the screen Cherish gets comfortable on the couch giving in and starts reading the subtitles, "What episode is this?"
"Two but you haven't missed much..." Odette says as she starts to explain what has happened so far and who is who as they appear on the screen
When it was time to go to the appointment the two Luck-Marie women didn't want to leave the couch. So when Cherish did get her phone back the first thing she did wasn't look at her notification but rather look up the K-drama and its actors.
