The afternoon of the tournament Cherish had gone home with her family after eating out because she was starving. Once she was home though with high energy and low spirits Cherish decides to change into something other than her gi and go to the backyard to use the punching bag.

Music was blaring through the speakers making the family all know what mood she was in and that meant she wasn't alone for too long.

Spencer or Matthew would walk over to her phone and change the song only for the Taylor Swift song to change into early Paramore songs. It was no longer a secret that something had happened - especially when the happy songs were skipped.

The brave soul to turn off the girl's music as Cherish aggressively punched the hanging bag was her mother. At the stop of her music Cherish was ready to curse out her brothers only to turn around and face Odette standing with her arms crossed.

Cherish looked around anywhere that wasn't her mom making the mother speak up, "Okay, we've let you play your loud music and punch your feelings out for long enough. Cher, love, what is wrong?"

"Nothing." Cherish sighs fumblings to take off the fingerless gloves.

"Is this because of the tournament?" Odette asks already been told how Cherish wasn't sad about losing her match, her heart wasn't in it and that answer was enough

"No" Cherish dismissively answers with a look of disgust

"Is it Miguel? Is that why you're not with him right now?" Odette asks taking in every movement her daughter made and at the distant look in her eyes as she places the black gloves in their drawer Odette guessed right

"If I tell you you're going to judge me," Cherish mutters with an eye roll knowing the secret was semi out but her parents had yet to know

"I don't judge you. I just judge your actions," Odette answers honestly

With a drop of her shoulders Cherish wines, "That's worse!"

"No, it's not. Really it's not" Odette reassures her daughter who walks over to sit on the weight bench "So what's so bad that you think i'll judge you?"
