Being told that the All Valley committee came up with a weapons skill section was a good thing in Cherish's book because it meant they got to practice with weapons. The bad part was Miyagi-do were given weapons and while none of the weapons were sharp they still were able to cause damage.
Cherish had already been hit in the gut with a 6ft bō staff because someone wasn't aware of their surroundings and how to properly hold a stick when there were people you didn't want to harm around.
Sam is the only other person who knew how to use any of the weapons on the table meant she was tasked with babysitting those who picked up the weapons. The weapons that they were given were; bō, sai, kama, nunchucks, and breaking boards.
Demitri picks up pair of sai confused as to why he was being assigned them, "You realize by giving me these you've dramatically increased my odds of being stabbed to death."
"Believe me, I'd rather be training to fight Tory." Sam says as she knew when the tournament came she'd have to fight Tory and she wasn't ready to lose "We have to work on these skills if we wanna win."
"If Joe hits me with the bo staff one more time I'm going to scream," Cherish bitterly lets out reaching the table of weapons
"Do you want a weapon?" Sam questions looking at the table
"Here take these," Demetri quickly tries to hand over the sai
Cherish smiles shaking her head, "No, no. That's not mine"
"How about these," Sam picks up the pair of kama's which were essentially two small reaper scythes
Cherish grins and takes the weapons, "And they're actually sharp"
"I'll get the first aid kit," Demetri sighs as he was pessimistically waiting for an accident to happen
The accident did happen. Joe tripped trying to get away from a cursing Cherish. As for the girl, the weapons she'd never used weren't dulled out, it caused her to get a few cuts.
