💕 Kinda cute maybe

The sea was eerily calm, the waves being less vigorous than usual. A small rowboat covered over, just above you. The singing of songs was both mesmerising and triggering. The song was one you'd always been drawn to. You questioned if it was real if there were actually men up there. Unlike your sisters, you had been a little more mellow, just like Serena. As soon as she came over to you, you both made the conscious decision to see what was by the shoreline instead, this was a luring trick you'd seen before.

Carefully moving over by the jetty, you bobbed your head up from out of the water, looking up above you. There were two men, one who looked very religious, and one who was a pirate. He was the one who attracted you. The stories he had behind those eyes were once in a lifetime. Screaming bellowed from behind you, the crime shrieking in your ears. A fight had broken out, the rest of your colony swimming out from the bottom of the sea upward towards where you were. Before you could grab him, he'd already shot away heading for the tower.

Instead of staying put, you started swimming away until the fire from a ship came rolling toward you. As you swam back with Serena, rubble exploded around you, a piece trapping Serena by the front of the docking area. In your wake, your eyes widened in the sea seeing the man from earlier sinking deeper into the sea. Perhaps he was alive, but your sisters would ravage him before he could drown peacefully. Grabbing his body in your arms, you dragged him around to the other side of the beach as fast as you could, laying him to rest on the sand.

You poked and prodded his body to try and awaken him from his slumber, but nothing. Letting out a cry, you were scared he was dead. Instead, it startled him awake.

"What? Where am I?" he asked, touching his head which was bleeding slightly.

"Beach," you replied, upon seeing you he stumbled backwards slightly.

Until he saw how innocently you looked at him, your eyes not as vicious as they could have been.

"Who are you?"

"Y/N, your name?"

"Jack Sparrow, Captain Jack Sparrow," he touched his head, and his teeth clamped together, showing his mix of normal and gold teeth.

"What wrong?" you asked, not knowing a lot of English.

"You don't know English very well, do you? I'm okay, Y/N,"

A lot of hollering was coming from the other beach, the announcement of a mermaid they'd found. Your eyes grew startled, realising you'd left your sister behind. Serena.

"Sister... Sister!" you screamed, grabbing Jack's legs, and dragging him into the sea and in your grip. He tried to squirm away, but your grip was superhuman and strong.

Before surfacing, you let Jack go swimming to the surface. You soon raised after he did, grabbing his ankle to pull him back down. As you saw them tie her hand back and her ankles, you cried out in agony at seeing her in this state. A human state. The other side of you began to appear, as Jack faced you, you gave him pleading eyes of apology and please help signals.

"Let her go!" you shouted, dragging Jack further out to sea.

"And why should I listen to you? I'll get my men to come and attack you! Into the water with a net," a man with a long black beard hollered, his men not so willingly obeying.

"No, give me sister," you hissed, your teeth forming, scales flaring slightly. Jack looked frightened almost. "Now!"

Instead of letting her go, they carried on toward you, into the water. You released Jack out of your grip, whipping your whip as it wrapped around his daughter's neck, dragging her toward you steadily.

"Let her go!" you screamed, pulling her rapidly toward you.

You gripped her shoulders, hissing at her face. She screamed and tried to wriggle free. You sank your teeth deeply into her shoulder, she cried out in agony, the blood seeping into the water.

"Let sister go!" you shouted, swimming closer to shore.

"I'd let her go, mate," Jack said.

"If you bring my daughter back, you can have your sister,"

"Sister first,"

"Daughter first. Now!"

"Give me my sister," you looked to Serena who was now out of breath. Soon enough he gave over and let her free, you didn't withhold his daughter who amply swam. Jack came out to grab her, coming to send her back.

"Thank you, Jack," you smiled, and he smiled back.

He seemed like a kind soul. As much as you wanted to kiss him, you couldn't. Instead, you wanted to hold on to the man you had envisioned in your head.
