Sitting on the edge of the docks with a letter in her hand, her boots lined up to just under knee and white fluffy corseted shop shielded by her pirates attire adorned her body. She had her hair down her back, looking outward to see just wondering about where her father was. She held no memory of him... except for a small red bead in the envelope. Many had offered her many explanations for who her father was as her mother by all accounts remained unknown as he was known for his ability to capture the eyes of many women with his looks.

Now she was 17, having left those who had kept her as her guardian she sailed above her own ship with her own crew who obeyed her every beckon and command. She had become notorious for her lack of crimes and ability to evade being called a criminal for what she did. That was her skill, and it's what made her ruthless. But she was a pirate nonetheless.

Getting up from the dock, she began walking back towards tortuga holding the bead between her fingers. This was her first official time visiting after she had only been able to observe from her youth. Now, she set foot with a pistol in its holster and a sword. Her ability to fire a gun and yield a weapon was masterful... something else that many of heard of. Her footwork often compared to the  infamous Jack sparrow who people had rumoured to have seen on the waters now and again, but she had her to cross paths with.

Walking up the muddied pathway, she sighted two women: one adorned in red the other in yellow. They both glued their eyes to the bead in her hands and approached instantly, cautioning the young girls hand to the blade she could bring out.

"Where did you get that bead from?" one asked her.

"Yes, where did you get the bead?"

She gripped her hand around her blade as one stroked the peace of hair that fell behind her ear, taking the sword in her hands fully, she held it to her neck without saying another word.

"Okay, okay..." she took a step back.

Showing the bead up to both their eyelines, she spoke without expression.

"Do you know where it comes from?"

"Jack sparrow!" they both spoke suddenly.

"Where can I find him?"

They both nodded their heads to the main tortuga pub. She put her sword back into the holder walked inbetween the both and headed straight for the pub. As she walked in, all eyes fell on her, the silent whispers and rumours of the infamous female pirate approaching the pub. A drink was immediately served to her at the bar, on the house, allowing her eyes to scan the room until they settled on the man she had been looking for: her father. She resembled him instantly... but he didn't notice her. How could he?

The man next to him, grey headed, round face, slightly dark features caught wind of her prescence and whispered her name to Jack. He didn't recognised her as his daughter but the fearsome female pirate he had yet to finally meet. And so, that's the persona she decided to play. Jack stepped up and walked toward her, both placing their drinks down to their seperate tables.

"Miss Y/N, I have heard so much about you... nice to meet you, love," he kissed her hand with his dirtied, tanned hands.

"Jack sparrow?" She questioned. "I've heard of you. Captain Jack sparrow, is it? Do you have a ship now?"

"Of course he does! What's a pirate captain without a ship?" The man next to him exclaimed.

"And you are?" She asked.

"Joshamee Gibbs, miss. But, Gibbs'll do!"

"Gibbs. I've been meaning to meet your friend here, sparrow..."

"Is that true?" Jack seemed flattered. "I wish I could say the same."

"And, you can't?"

"I wish I could,"

"What he means to say is... he's had a few drinks and he doesn't know what he's saying," Gibbs intervened.

"There's not enough rum in the whole of the Caribbean to get me drunk enough to not know what I'm saying, Gibbs. Now, where were we... I've heard your footwork is very good, for a woman and a pirate. Especially both,"

"Don't sound so surprised," she drew her sword snd steadied her feet as Jack joined suit almost identically.

"Just curious, love,"

"Curiosity will get you held to the point of a blade,"

She took a step forward with her sword, and he defended himself. They went back and forth skilfully round pillars, the tables and the bar as they fought against each other. Evenly matched, heavily equated. Gibbs stood and watched in awe at the moment. Jack threw tricks her way, but she expected them immediately defended herself and threw a surprise his way each time. It seemed he was evenly matched by her.

"Where... did you... learn... how to fight... like this?" He asked between movements.

"Simple..." she said, before taking a step forward and holding the sword to his neck. In her other hand she flashed the bead.

"My hair bead... where did you get that?"

"In a envelope with a message written by my father apologising for being absent for my childhood but he knew we'd find each other somehow. I guess he was right, hello father,"

"How old are you?"

"I'm seventeen,"

"And you're already a fearsome pirate?"

"Yes,"

"And you're my daughter..." he collapsed to the floor in shock, not from the rum but shock.

"Explains the footwork." Gibbs spoke as he bent down to pick him up.

Now she had met her father.
