After arriving at Isla Cruces, Jack handed the compass to you. You wanted the heart of Davy Jones to free yours and Will's father from the Dutchman. It turned out, after Will went to meet your father, he revealed he had a daughter called Y/N L/N, he had you a few years after Will with another woman. That was why you were raised in port royal, with a middle class family. Since the mother was a poor daughter of a pirate, she had little money to care for a newborn baby.

And now, here you were, looking to help free your father out of the hands of Davy Jones. That's why you  were grateful for Will, and most of all, your fiancé James. Will still didn't know about it.

"It's broken, I told you," James said, watching as you walked around and around in circles. Thr compass just pointed to where you were, going around and around in circles. "It's broken. I said if from the beginning."

You sat down, and Jack took the compass from your hands.

"You're sitting in it," Jack shooed you out of the way, getting James to start digging. It was there you found the chest containing the heart of Davy Jones.

"There it is!" You squeeled, wrapping your arms around James. "We've found it! I knew it worked."

"Tell me, you didn't doubt that it was a little broken,"

"Maybe just a bit," you kissed his lips and pulled away as soon as you heard Will's voice. "Will!"

You ran toward him as he ran toward you, wrapping your arms around him.

"What's that one your finger, Y/N?"

"I'm getting married,"

"To who?"

"James, James Norrington. The former commodore,"

"Him?" He said shocked.

"Him? What do you mean? Aren't you happy?"

"Of course I am!" he wrapped his arms around you. "And father will be able to walk you down the aisle when we have finished."

"He will," you let a little tear slip hugging Will tighter. "Thank you, once again."
