The brawl between both sides had begun. The fighting against the decks was a brawl no one wanted or thought they'd see. As the governors daughter, you were locked away. The blood shed was upon all of you, and that was where you wanted to be. James was outside fighting for his life, barely staying alive. You grabbed the nearest side and busted the lock with it, taking up the fighting outside.

Plunging the sword into the nearest pirate, he fell to the ground with a thud. Pulling out the sword quickly you watched as you fended off more of the pirates. More and more people died by your hands, James locked eyes with you in fear, he fended off another pirate his sword coursing through the skin.

"Y/N!" He shouted, pushing another pirate off the side of ship. "Get back inside, now!"

"Ah, aren't you a pretty little thing," one of the pirates cooed.

You pushed your sword backward into him. "Don't you look pretty now."

James stared in shock at what you'd just done, his eyes widened. The fighting suddenly died down, and everyone was catching their breathe. Another load of pirates soon boarded from the opposing ship.

"No time to chat then." James stated as you fought more pirates that came your way. The dress you were wearing was covered in blood.

"Not really," you thrusted the sword into another pirate, and then another. "Didn't know I could do this."

"Hmm, me neither," he killed another pirate.

Once all the pirates were gone, the opposing ship was blown up to smithernes. James wiped some of the blood off of your face with the sleeve of his admirals jacket.

"Thank you," you smiled.

"Why didn't you just stay inside?"

"Why not get into the middle of all the action? I'm sick of feeling like I'm useless, turns out I'm really not," he hugged you. "What's that for?"

"Just because,"

"Okay, I don't mind," you hugged him back. "Also, didn't want to watch you die out here."

"You don't need to worry about me,"

"I do, I think I do James."
