How many time had you wished you weren't Davy Jones' daughter? How many times did you wish you could see your mother more often? After all, it was calypso, she seemed s lot kinder than Davy Jones. You knew him when you were a child, he wasn't always covered in tentacles and filled with the direst cruelty. You sat in his cabin, where he often played his organ, laying on your wooden bed, slightly soaked from going down under so many times. All your literature was destroyed from water, so there was nothing to do other than talk to the crew mates that were embedded into the walls of the ship. They were interesting, often slipping in and out of consciousness, losing memory of the prior events.

"When will you let me go out?" you complained as Davy Jones entered, his footsteps thundering through the room.

"I'll let you, when I tell you that you can," you sighed heavily, your throat filled with a lump. "This world is a cruel place! Get some sleep."

He returned to his usual place, falling as sleep quickly, as usual. Once he was asleep, you carefully crept out of the cabin onto the decks. No one usually questioned where you were going, and why. You were jones' daughter, after all. You're caution was your main priority. The plan was, to steal a longboat and make way for the nearest shore. You had a compass and a soaked map. You peered your head around the door, walking forward and thudding in to someone. But, it wasn't crusty, or hard, it was someone covered in flesh and normal clothes.

"I'm sorry... oh, you must be new?"

"No, I've come to see my father, Bootstrap. Who are you?"

"Y/N Jones, yes. I'm his daughter,"

"What's that like?"

"No time for small talk, what's your name?"

"Will Turner," he paused looking at your panicked look. "What's wrong?"

"I'm leaving, I have to try and leave,"

You walked toward the longboats seeing Boostral standing with a knife in his hand.

"Where are you going?"

You looked between him and Will, Will giving you a reassuring nod that he could be trusted.

"I'm leaving, I can't bear it here any longer,"

"I'm not going to stop you, you can go with Will," he turned to Will. "Can she?"

"Yes, of course she can."

You both got into the longboat and sailed far out of sight from the Dutchman. Eventually you came to a merchant trading ship, they got you on board with warm drinks and blankets to keep warm.

"Thank you," you said to Will. "I've fallen victim to that father of mine for so many years now, I've not set foot on land before."

"Ever?"

"Never, I've only seen it,"

"Once we get back to Jack, I promise you'll get to go on land. He will probably want to go to Tortuga anyway."
