A guard threw you into the jail, the ends of your beautiful forest green dress darkened to black from the wet of the rain outside, your corset squeezed your waist making breather difficult, especially after having ran away from the officers of the law which you were subject to.

There was a man in the cell you were being thrown in already, he turned his head around slowly with his lips slightly parted, smirking at you, but not in a predatory way, it was almost friendly.

"Why are you here?" He asked turning his head back to looking at the cell wall again.

"I don't entirely know,"

"You don't speak like rough, you speak well. You're dress... it's not made cheaply,"

You sat near the exit of the prison cell, looking at the dog down the hall holding the key.

"You're right, I'm the daughter of a very well known family. My father will have me released in any second,"

"Once your here, your here for good. Unless your me , love. And you know how to get out of these situations," you scoffed, spreading your skirt wider keeping you warm. "You May laugh, but it's true. I've been in here more than once."

"Yet, you always return,"

"That's because they miss me, love,"

"What did you do?"

"Own my own freedom,"

"Doesn't seem like something they can imprison you for,"

He turned his head toward you and grinned, flashing his gold teeth in the dim lamplight. That grin sent shivers down your spine, lining your arms with goosebumps.

"You'd be surprised."
