Expect the Unexpected (Jemily)

Chapter 2

Emily's POV

Jack is staying with us tonight, Lily wanted him to last weekend at Rossi's but Jack had a soccer game the following morning

Lily has been so excited and even wants us to take a trip to the store so we can get some candy,

So, we told her if she was good all morning we would take her to get some things before we picked up Jack later on

"Mommy Emmy!" Lily yelled from her room, JJ and I were up making breakfast

JJ was dressed in grey sweatpants with a white crop top while I had on black sweats and a black shirt

"Mommy Emmy!" Lily yelled again

"You better go before she gets mad" JJ chuckles and kisses me

I made my way to lily's room and she was jumping on her bed

"Hey hey.... What are our rules about that?" I ask and pick her up off the bed

"I don't know" she giggles and I just shake my head

"Don't let it happen again" I say and tap her nose and she just laughs

"What did you want sweet girl?" I ask and start walking out to JJ

"Can we go get Jack now?" She ask excitedly while bouncing in my arms

"Not yet... later, remember?" I say and she sighs

"But that so long" she says and I sit her down at one of the kitchen chairs

"I know.. so long" I say and she sticks her tongue out at me and I do it back to her,  making her laugh once again

JJ finished pancakes and Lily immediately grabbed for the syrup

"Ah I don't think so" JJ says, grabbing the syrup before Lily could

"But but momma JJ!" Lily pouts and JJ chuckles

"No ma'am, I will give you some but you're not doing it by yourself" she says and Lily rolls her eyes

"Fine!" Lily expresses and JJ just raises an eyebrow and pours a little syrup over lily's pancakes

After breakfast Lily went to play with her toys while JJ and I cleaned up from breakfast

"I love her little attitude and I hate it at the same time" I say and JJ laughs

"It's just going to get worse as she gets older, but I love her" JJ says and I smile

"It's hard not to" I smile and we walk out to the living room where Lily had already pulled out her entire toy box and dumped it on the floor

"Oh god" JJ mumbles and I chuckle

"I got my toys!" She smiles and we just sat down with her

"You playing with me?" She ask us and we nod and she gives us her Barbie's to play with her

"Oh I forgot something" Lily says out of no where and she stands up to run to her room and I grabbed my phone out of my pocket

"Lilian Reese" JJ scolds and I picked my head up to look and see why JJ was getting after her

"What!?" Lily ask, turning around to us
