A few days later, Jack was in her office and the stress was getting to her. She had so many profiles that she had to do, she had to find time to pack, and Faith, her daughter, kept texting her, trying to set up a date to have coffee and talk. It wasn't helping that almost every hour, Gibbs came to check if the profiles were done.
The cases that she had to make profiles for were all about abuse and rape. They kept taking her back to the moments of her past. Every ten minutes, the images would flash through her mind. She felt like she was drowning. She didn't know what to do. The images made her want to kill herself.
He grabs her arm and throws her into the table. He started to kick her in the stomach as she groaned in pain. He steps on her broken ankle and she screams out in pain. He throws her onto the bed. "I wouldn't have to do that if you'd just open your legs," he says.
Jack closes her eyes, forcefully and opens them. She starts crying. As tears slide down her face, she kicks the trash can underneath her desk. She grabs the knife off of her key ring and starts cutting her wrist.
She takes out her gun and puts it to her head, taking a deep breath. The door opens and she hears footsteps walking over to her. She looks up and sees Gibbs with a very concerned look on his face.
"Jack, please. Don't do this. I know it's hard right now and I know it hurts but you can get through this," he says, hoping that she'll put the gun down. When she doesn't, he takes a deep breath. "I love you, Jack. I've loved you since the first time I saw you. Jacqueline, I don't wanna lose you so please don't do this,"
