Kelly continues to sob in Jack's arms. Gibbs feels like he isn't helping and soon the images of his own Kelly flood his mind. He runs out of the room and Jack looks up, confused. She decides to focus on Kelly and rocks her back and forth.
A few minutes later, the girl pulls away from Jack and starts wiping her eyes. Jack looks down at her watch. '4:50' it read. She sighs. "Hey, how about you get dressed and I'll go make us some breakfast?" she suggests. "Well, my mom - she - she used to pick out my clothes for me," Kelly explains.
"Oh, okay. I'll pick something out for you," Jack says, standing up and walking over to the closet. She looks through it for a minute and pulls a pink dress out. "What about this?" she asks. "Yes!! That's so pretty," Kelly says, happily.
"Okay, well here are your shoes and a pair of socks. You get changed and I'll go make breakfast," Jack says and hands Kelly her outfit for the day. "Okay!!" Kelly says, enthusiastically.
Jack walks out and closes the door behind her. She walks down to the basement and sees her husband working on his boat. Well, trying to at least. He wasn't getting much done.
"So, what was that all about? You can't just run out in the middle of something like that!" Jack says, raising her voice. Silence. "Jethro?" she says. Silence, again.
