Gibbs and Jack arrive at work with Kelly. She had insisted on going with them. They could never say no to the smile she had.
"Kelly, we are going to drop you off at daycare and then we'll come back after work. We'll then take you to meet your sister," Jack had said. "I wanna go to work with you. It was so fun," Kelly had said.
"Kelly..." Gibbs said. "Pleeease. Pretty please?" Kelly said and smiled. "Okay, okay but just this once," Jack had said, knowing that there would be plenty more times.
"She can stay in my office," Jack said, trying to convince her husband that it was a good idea. "She'll get bored," Gibbs had said. "She can watch movies and draw. She didn't get bored last time," Jack said. "Fine, you're so lucky I love you," Gibbs said.
The elevator doors open and the newly created family walk through. Once they get to the bullpen, Jack and Gibbs kiss and say their 'good mornings' to the team. "Alright, well I'm going to get up to my office and get started on the day," Jack says. "Have fun," Ellie says.
Jack turns and Kelly starts running to the stairs. "Kels, be-" she starts but before she can finish, Kelly tries running up the stairs and trips over one. She falls and starts screaming and crying. Jack drops all of her bags and coffee and runs to her daughter.
