After watching them for a little while longer, Gibbs knocks on the door and opens it. Jack looks up and smiles. "Oh, hey. Is the case all over?" she asks. "Yeah. So, how have you two been?" he asks, walking over to the couch and sitting next to both of them.
"It's been great, Mr. Gibbs! Jack is so nice and she let me draw and we played dolls and we watched a movie!" Kelly exclaims, energetically, making Gibbs and Jack smile. "Oh, is that so?" Gibbs asks, looking over at his wife. "Yup," Jack says.
"Kelly, how about you pick up all of your dolls and toys while Mr. Gibbs and I talk outside?" she asks, looking over at Kelly. "Okay!" the little girl says. Jack walks towards the door and Gibbs follows her. She opens the door and Gibbs closes it behind them, once he's outside.
"So, what's gonna happen to her? You said she's got no one else," Jack asks, clearly worried about Kelly. "We have to give her up," Gibbs says. "Really?" she asks her husband. "Yeah," he says.
"Okay. I'll go call them," Jack says and walks away, taking her phone out of her pocket and dialing the number. Gibbs walks back into his wife's office and chats with Kelly.
About ten minutes later, Jack walks back into her office and asks to talk with Gibbs outside again. "What's wrong?" Gibbs asks, seeing the look on her face. "Well, um I just talked to the adoption services and they said that Kelly has a sister,"
