After answering all of the officers' questions, Jack, Gibbs, and Kelly drove to go see Christina. Kelly was so happy. She'd always wanted a sister and now it was all coming true. She seemed to forget about the events before - getting shot at - because she was so talkative in the car ride.
Finally, they arrived at the Adoption Center. They all walk up to the front desk with smiles that are huge. "We'd like to see Christina, Christina Alexanders," Jack says and the receptionist looks her up on her computer.
"Okay, come right this way," she says after a few minutes. Jack, Gibbs, and Kelly follow the receptionist to a room with so many kids inside. The receptionist opens the door. "Christina," she calls out. A girl with brown hair approaches them. "These nice people would like to speak to you," she says and leads everyone into a private room.
"Hi. I'm Jack and this is my husband Gibbs. We were working a case and we came across Kelly," Jack says. "Her parents were-" Gibbs starts but stops. "They're gone and when we looked to see if she had any other relatives, the only one we found was you. You're her sister," he says.
"No, there's no way. Well, unless-" Christina starts and then stops. She looks over at Kelly and asks, "Do you have a necklace?"
Kelly pulls out a silver chain from under her shirt. "Like this?" she asks, showing half of a heart and spelling 'ters'. Christina pulls out hers and puts the two halves together, the necklace now spelling 'sisters'.
"Kels," Christina says and pulls her sister into a hug as she starts to cry. "I'm so sorry that you had to go through all of this without me. I never stopped looking for you but no one would tell me where you were," she says.
After a few minutes, they pull away from each other and Christina wipes her tears away. "We're gonna adopt you both," Jack says. "Thank you, thank you so much," Christina says, enthusiastically. Now Jack and Gibbs knew where Kelly got her energy from.

It's been a week since then and Jack tells everyone to gather around in the living room. This was unusual for her to call a family meeting but it seemed really important so everyone quickly got in the living room. Once everyone was in there, Jack started. "I have big news. This will change our lives forever," she says.
"So, what is it, Mom?" Kelly asked. "Yeah! Spit it out," Christina said. "Well, I'm pregnant," she says and everyone starts jumping up and down. "Yay!! We're gonna have another sister!" Kelly cheers. Gibbs stands up and kisses Jack.
In that moment, nothing else mattered but the family that they'd made together. It was awesome to see how their life changed after just a normal day at the office. After the day with Kelly, they knew they never wanted to let her go and after they'd met Christina, they knew that what they were doing was right. Through all of these challenges and decisions, Jack and Gibbs' relationship had gotten even stronger than it had been before. I mean, what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger, right?
