It's been a year since they got married and they're still going strong. They had their ups and downs, like any couple, but they pushed through it all, their love getting stronger and stronger each time.
Today is their anniversary and Gibbs has something very, very special planned for Jack. Little did he know, she had a surprise for him. And she will have stolen Gibbs' thunder like she did when Gibbs popped the question - well, Jack popped the question.
Gibbs was planning on taking Jack on a date to Bella's , where they first got engaged. He was planning on upgrading the ring he had given to Jack.
Jack was sitting in her office, typing away at her laptop, when the door opened, revealing her husband. She looks up and smiles. "Hey," she says. "Hey, Jack. Happy Anniversary," Gibbs says, smiling. "Happy Anniversary, Cowboy," Jack says. "So, I was wondering," Gibbs says, sitting down in a chair in front of Jack. "If you'd go out to dinner with me?" He looks up at his wife.
"You know, I'm your wife, right? You don't have to ask me out to dinner," Jack says, chuckling. God, he loved that. The feeling of him being married to her still hadn't gone away - he wasn't sure he wanted it to.
"Well, would you like to go out to dinner?" Gibbs asks. "Yes, I would. That'd be lovely. I have a surprise for tonight but you'll just have to wait and see what it is," Jack says. "Don't think dinner was the only thing...I have a surprise for you. I guess you'll just have to wait and see," Gibbs says, teasing Jack.
"Can I just have one hint?" Jack asks, making her husband chuckle. "No," he says. "Just a teeny tiny one?" she asks. "Jack...." he says, smiling at his wife. "Fine. I see how you are," Jack says and Gibbs laughs.
"The disrespect," Jack says, enunciating it perfectly and stringing out the letters to make them longer. Gibbs dies out laughing and Jack joins him. After a few minutes of laughing, they both take deep breaths. "Woo," Jack says, looking at Gibbs. "I love you, Jack," Gibbs says. "I love you, too, Cowboy," Jack says and leans in to kiss her husband.
