Sennas pov first then Ghosts

Song inpso whatever your favorite happy Christmas music is

I'm having some issues with my surgery site, so I'm not feeling the smut yet. SORRY TO MAKE YOU WAIT I KNOW. So instead have this super cute fluff filled 141 Christmas bonus chapter. Thanks for the temptation, you know who you are.

Both Ghost and I stood in the living room, arms crossed over our chests and brows furrowed like the true Grinches we were as Price and Soap hauled in a tree into the house.

I didn't get why we had to do this, on Christmas eve when I was sure there was some kind of party going on back at headquarters. I wasn't a Christmas person, hell I wasn't a holiday person, and I knew Ghost wasn't either.

Yet somehow here we were, at our house, while the two other men were puking Christmas all over it.

"I don't understand why you had to bring a tree, the night before Christmas. It's just gonna get tossed out tomorrow." I said from where I stood beside Ghost, eyeing the snow they were tracking in with them.

"You wouldn't dare." Soap said as he gave me those puppy dog eyes I was a slave for. "We're gonna decorate it, together."

"We're gonna what?" I asked as they set the tree up in its stand, but instead of answering me Soap walked back outside before returning with a tote filled to the brim with lights and ornaments.

"You're going along with this?" Ghost said to Price then, who was trying not to show it but he was enjoying this as much as Johnny.

"Why not? We've been working hard, we deserve this." Price answered and I glared at him but he only smirked back.

Don't say it, don't say it.

"We're the only family we have. Might as well spend the holiday together." Price said it and I groaned at how cheesy it was.

I spotted Soap out the corner of my eye, plugging something in and I moved to investigate.

"What the hell is that?" I questioned, hovering over him.

"It's an Alexa, echo. We can't do this in silence. Alexa, play Christmas music." He said then and it listened, playing one of a million versions of jingle bell rock.

"I'm gonna rock you into another century." I threatened, holding up my first but he only laughed and led me by my shoulders back to where everyone else is.

"Ghost, you can get out of decorating the tree if you make us all hot chocolate." Soap told him and Simon didn't hesitate, taking the first chance to get out of there. I looked after him with pleading eyes, mouthing 'Please don't leave me here' as he walked away.

"Fine. Let's get this over with." I grumbled as I leaned down to pop open the tote. Soap grinned at me, coming to help me pull out the lights.

"White, or rainbow?" He asked, holding up options.

"I hate you. Rainbow." I answered. This wasn't super out of the norm for me, Callum used to decorate the apartment we shared every year for the holidays. We would exchange gifts. Part of me was happy to have that kind of normalcy back, and if I was going to spend it with anyone I wanted it to be with these lovers. I wasn't going to admit that though.

Soap and I took turns rounding the tree with strands of rainbow lights while Price took a spot on the couch, supervising. Slowly I started to ease into it, felt a little more relaxed. Being in Tokyo had helped a little, it got me out of my military routine and made me realize that I could do normal people things from time to time.
