Kayley spun around Josie, and Hope, before stumbling and nearly striking her head against the desk, on the side of the room. Hope and Josie both responded at once, extending a hand of support. That saved the girl from danger, but putting their arms out at the same time caused Hope's hand to brush against Josie's.

"Sorry" Hope mumbled as a line of rose blush spread crossed her cheek. "So what's the plan for tonight?"

"Tonight?" Josie asked, her eyebrow raised just slightly. There was hesitation in her tone, rubbing her arm gently. "Um, I was thinking about sleeping in my room tonight. It will be more comfortable for you and---"

"NOOOOOO!!!, Mommy you can't leave" Kayley ran towards the door trying to prevent the young mother from leaving. She extended her arms wide, as she pressed her back against the door. It made Josie laugh, walking towards the small child and picking her up. There was a pout on her lips, a sure sign that she was in no happy mood.

"I--I"

"Mommy is going to spend the night with us" Hope walked towards them. Kayley peered closely at the two of them. something about their hurried defense smelled fishy to her. She needed further confirmation.

"R-really! r-eally! really!"

"Yea, totally"

"Oke" she beamed, placing her trust upon her mothers, as they fell over themselves to lie to her, smiled in relief as she held onto Josie.

"You'll be here foreeeevvver, mommy?"

"Thats.. ummmm..."

Quickly thinking on her feet Hope asked, " What about you, Kay? Do you want me... Do you want mommy to be here?"

"Yeah! together with mommy forever... and mama too"

"Is it okay if I spend the night?" Josie asked. And with a soft smile Hope agreed.

Wiggling out of josies arms, Kayley raced, and jumped onto the bed patting her hand, signaling Josie to lay with her as she took the middle. Josie slowly shook her head, seeing the young girls playful antics, enjoying the fact that she gets to sleep with both her parents. Hope smiled, turning off the lights before making her way towards the other side of the bed.

"Better hug mommy tight, okay? that way, she wont get away on you" Hope whispered, laying her head on the pillow.

"Ok" without warning Kayley jumped on Josie wrapping herself around josies arm, slowly embracing the joyful grinning toddler. Josie heard something rustle, feeling something on the young girl.

"Hey what you got there, little lady" Josie reached under the girls shirt and pulled out what felt like paper. Holding it up, the moonlight shined through the curtain giving light to the picture in hand. Hope scooting close to catch a glimpse.

"Picture" Kayley pointed out. "See, thats you mommy and thats mama" Kayley said. Josie looked closer, trying to focus hard on the picture that had very little light. And sure enough, Kayley was right. It was a picture of the 3 of them together. Josie and Hope sitting down next to one another, as the young girl sat on Josie's lap, who was visibly pregnant. A wide smile spread across all 3 girls, however Josie and hope looked lovingly at one another almost as if they were unaware of the picture even being taken in that moment.

"We really are a family, aren't we?" Hope softly spoke.

"Do you think we're okay?" Josie whispered back. "I mean we sent them back to protect them. My guess we are the ones fighting something bigger, stronger even."

"Im sure whatever we are doing, we are doing it together."

"How can you be sure?"

"Because I'd do anything to protect you, and I'll bring hell to anyone that hurts my family. No matter what happens, present or future, I'll be by your side" Happy with the answer, Josie fell back into the bed, and snuggled into the covers. The toddler had found her spot underneath both Hopes and Josie's arm that wrapped around her.
