Chapter 14

Beyoncé's POV
Ciara's Apartment
February 26

"Go home, Beyoncé." Ciara pushed me off of her when I sat on her back.

She was trying to sleep but I wasn't tired so I was trying to keep her awake.

"Feed me, CiCi."

"Girl, you just ate like 10 minutes ago. Relax." She whined in her sleep. "Just order something."

I got up and got my phone to order some food. I had about an hour until I needed to go pick up Titan from preschool. Kelly told me that he was having another play date, so I had to look after two kids by myself.

"What do you want from Popeye's?" I asked as I finished doing my order.

"Get me the two piece with the nice fries you always order." She muttered. I did just that and when I was done, I went and sat down next to her on her bed.

"Want to babysit Titan with me?" I asked her.

"No, you and that lil boy are trouble when you're together. Plus you're probably going to babysit that other little girl too. I'm not good with children."

I used my phone whilst waiting for my food because Ciara fell back asleep. When the food came, I set it up on her bed for us to eat. She instantly woke up and started eating.

"What time is it now?" I asked as I ate my chicken burger.

"1:53."

"I need to leave right now." I ate the last piece of my food and stood from her bed. She passed me her trash and I took it on my way out.

"Bye, CiCi."

"Bye, Bey." I watched her get back in her bed to sleep.

I parked my car and walked to where I normally waited to pick Titan up. There was less that 5 minutes before the kids were released from preschool.

As I waited, a shorter woman came out with a car seat in her hand. She searched around and made eye contact with me before approaching me.

I recognised her as one of Nicki's friends.

"Hi there." She put her hand out for me to shake and I took it.

"Hi." I responded in confusion.

"Are you here to pick up Titan by any chance?" She asked, I nodded my head and I saw the relief on her face. "I'm his teacher, so you must be the person on his guardian list. I'm Miss London."

"Hi. Call me Bey." I smiled at her.

"Are Titan and Zamora supposed to have a play date today?" I nodded my head. "Well, Onika told me to give you Zamora's car seat."

"Who?" My brows knitted.

"Zamora's mother?"

"Oh, Nicki." I came to a realisation.

"Yes, Nicki. But yeah, here is Zamora's seat. I wanted to give it to you before all the kids started running out so you could set it up." She explained as we now started walking to my car.

When we got there, I unlocked my car and set up the car seat next to Titan's. I turned to see her just staring at me.

"Oh and she told me to tell you to drop Zamora off at her mother's house." She handed me a note with the address and I nodded.
