Olive Garden
August 30
"She's turning 26, what would a 26 year old like Bey want?" Kelly asked whilst taking notes.
"A trip to a strip club." Solange suggested. I shrugged and Kelly just wrote it down.
"I'm going to get Cici to fly in. Bey loves her so much." Kelly noted. "Let me call Ciara. Hold on."
She left the table and went to call Ciara. I'd been sat silently picking at my pasta.
"You good?" Solange asked, whilst taking my fork out of my hand. "You've been brutally stabbing your pasta for a while."
"I'm good, Solo. Just thinking."
"About?"
"Lani."
"Oh my goodness, same." She gasped, I smiled thinking that we were on the same page. "I love her, do you?"
"Yeah, sure." I smiled.
My opinion was the total opposite of Solange's. There was something about Lani that I couldn't put my finger on. I didn't want to seem like a crazy person, so I kept my opinion to myself.
I couldn't help but think about her tattoos. I had a theory in my mind about those tattoos but Beyoncé wouldn't bring someone like that around me.
Would she?
"She tried to teach me some New York slang, but I already knew it all because you already taught me." She shrugged.
"What's your new found obsession with New York, Solo?" I picked at my pasta again.
"I'm not scared of it anymore. It's a cute place. I feel like going to look at the hospitals there. Maybe in Manhattan though."
"Of course you want to go to the boujee part." I chuckled.
"That's all Bey's fault and my daddy's fault. We were all spoilt growing up." She explained, sipping her wine. "Did you know that Bey has houses in like 3 countries?"
"I did not know that." I chuckled.
"When the time comes, she'll definitely bring you with us on her spontaneous family vacation. You're like family."
"Where to?"
"Somewhere tropical this time. Last time we went to France for skiing."
"Cici just said her jet was being cleaned, so she's coming on the 3rd." Kelly excitedly announced.
We continued talking and my phone chimed.
