Beyoncé's POV
Nicki's House
July 23

I was bored so I came to bother Onika. She'd been busy practicing some recipes, so she had to get Zamora out of the house.

Zamora went to my mama's house for the day, whilst Onika did her thing.

I was sat at the island, watching her go through her own recipes. She was a perfectionist when it came to cooking.

"Ok, this is done. I just need to let it sit for like 3 hours." She said whilst putting a dessert tray in her freezer.

I smiled just seeing the content look on her face. If she ever chose to make business ventures with cooking, I'd invest a lot of money into it. She deserved it.

"Are you just going to watch me cook for hours?" Onika looked over at me, whilst washing her hands.

"It's pretty entertaining." I shrugged and leaned back in my seat. "Can I cook something with you?"

"Like what?"

I took a moment to think.

"I don't really care. I'll cook whatever." She looked over at me and her dimples popped as she thought.

"Sure. Pull your sleeves up and go wash your hands." She instructed and I eagerly got up.

I walked over to her sink and started washing my hands. After about 20 seconds, I cut the water off and dried them.

"Do you have something on under that?" She asked, taking in my outfit. I nodded my head. "Ok, take that off. You don't want to wear warm clothes when you're cooking."

I took my hoodie off and was left in a black racer back.

"Now what?" I tied it around my waist.

She thought for a second then started flipping through her notepad of recipes. I patiently waited and admired her face.

I noticed that she had lighter makeup on today. Possibly because she wasn't doing much. She was pretty in every form possible.

Every day I was with her, I was falling harder for her. It was indescribable how much care had grown in my heart for Onika.

"Stop looking at me, it's distracting." She muttered, still looking through the notebook.

"Sorry." I leaned over and pecked her cheek. I watched her blush whilst trying not to react to my touch.

"I found something." She placed the book down. "We're going to make pizza."

"Huh?" I could barely make myself toast, pizza was a big no.

"It's not that hard, I promise. Just do everything I do." She explained and moved a piece of hair behind her ear.

"What should I do?" I stood at attention, waiting for her command.

"Go in my fridge. There's some dough that should be risen by now." I turned to her fridge and took the item out. "Now open it and go grab some flour."

"Yes, ma'am." I stopped in my tracks because I didn't know where she kept her flour. "There's a problem, ma'am."

"What?" She didn't look up from her notes.

"I have no clue where the flour is." I heard her chuckle before she turned around. She opened a cabinet and pulled out some flour.

"Gently pour some on the counter." She explained after wiping down a certain part of the counter.

"Ok."
