I took a deep breath as I knocked on Sario's door. She answered almost immediately, her excitement palpable.

"Blackfire, you're finally here! Come on, we need to get ready!" Sario pulled me inside, her energy infectious.

We spent the next hour getting ready in her room, surrounded by a sea of clothes and makeup. Sario couldn't stop talking about the party and her crush, Tanaka. I listened with a smile, applying the finishing touches to my makeup.

"You look amazing, Sario. Tanaka won't be able to take his eyes off you," I assured her.

Sario beamed. "Thanks, Blackfire. You look stunning too. Ready to go?"

I nodded, feeling a mix of excitement and apprehension. Parties weren't usually my scene, but I was willing to step out of my comfort zone tonight.

We arrived at Jayde's house, and the place was already buzzing with energy. Music thumped through the walls, and laughter filled the air. Sario grabbed my hand, dragging me inside.

"Come on, let's find Tanaka!" she exclaimed, scanning the room.

We found him near the drinks table, chatting with some friends. Sario practically floated over to him, leaving me standing alone. I watched as she struck up a conversation, her face glowing with excitement.

I made my way to the drinks table, pouring myself a glass of punch. The room was filled with familiar faces, but there were a few new ones too. As I sipped my drink, I spotted Tsukishima across the room. He was talking to a girl I didn't recognize, her name was Kenio. They seemed to be getting along well.

Not wanting to dwell on it, I decided to enjoy the night. I mingled with some old friends, catching up and sharing laughs. The drinks flowed, and I found myself loosening up, the initial nerves fading away.

At some point, I realized I had lost track of how many drinks I'd had. The room began to spin, and I leaned against a wall, trying to steady myself. Faces blurred together, and the music grew louder. I took another sip, hoping it would help, but it only made things worse.

Everything started to fade, and I felt myself sliding down the wall. The last thing I remembered was someone calling my name before everything went black.
