I stood outside the cabin, the cool night air doing little to soothe the turmoil inside me. My phone was still in my hand, the call I had made a few minutes ago ringing in my ears. I couldn't believe I had called him, of all people. But I needed someone who wasn't tangled up in all this mess.

Footsteps approached, and I looked up to see Tsukishima walking towards me. His expression was unreadable, but there was a softness in his eyes that I hadn't seen before.

"You called?" he asked, stopping a few feet away.

"Yeah," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. "I just... I needed someone to talk to."

He nodded, gesturing for me to sit on the porch steps. I took a seat, and he settled down beside me, keeping a respectful distance. For a moment, we just sat there in silence, the night sounds filling the space between us.

"It's Sario," I began, my voice trembling. "We had this huge fight. She thinks I've been ignoring her, that I'm more interested in everyone else. And she mentioned you, too. She thinks... she thinks I'm obsessed with you."

Tsukishima sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I see."

"I don't know what to do," I continued, my words spilling out in a rush. "We've never fought like this before. She's my best friend, and now she's so hurt because of me. I feel like I'm losing her."

He looked at me, his gaze steady. "You're not losing her, Blackfire. Friendships have ups and downs. She just needs time to cool off."

"I hope you're right," I said, wiping away a tear. "It's just... everything is so messed up right now. I don't know how to fix it."

Tsukishima shifted closer, his presence oddly comforting. "Sometimes, you can't fix things right away. You just have to let them heal on their own."

I took a deep breath, feeling a little more at ease. "Thanks, Tsukishima. I didn't expect you to be so... understanding."

He shrugged, a faint smile playing on his lips. "I can be, when I want to."

We sat there for a while longer, the tension between us easing. Eventually, he stood up and offered me his hand. "Come on, let's get you back to your room. You need rest."

I took his hand, feeling a warmth spread through me as he helped me up. We walked back to the cabin in silence, but it was a comfortable silence. When we reached the door, I turned to him, feeling a rush of gratitude.

"Thanks for coming, Tsukishima. I really needed that."

He nodded, his eyes softening. "Anytime, Blackfire."

Before I could say anything else, Tsukishima leaned in and kissed me. It was sudden and unexpected, but it felt right. His lips were soft and warm, and I felt a shiver run down my spine. The kiss deepened, and I found myself responding eagerly, wrapping my arms around his neck.

Without breaking the kiss, he guided us inside the cabin and towards my room. The world outside seemed to disappear as we stumbled through the door, our lips still locked together. We fell onto the bed, and for a moment, everything else melted away. It was just us, tangled up in each other, the intensity of the moment sweeping us both away.
