The combined school festival was a much-anticipated event, bringing together students from our school and Nekoma for a day of fun, games, and delicious food. The festival grounds were bustling with activity, colorful stalls lining the paths, and the air filled with laughter and music.

I was thrilled to spend the day with my friends from Nekoma—Kuroo, Kenma, and Lily—and, of course, my boyfriend, Tsukishima. It had been a week since Tsukishima and I officially started dating, and I couldn't be happier. He made me feel special and cherished, and I was looking forward to enjoying the festival with him.

As I made my way to the festival grounds, I spotted Kuroo, Kenma, and Lily near a game stall. Kuroo waved enthusiastically, and I hurried over to join them.

"Hey, guys!" I greeted them with a wide smile.

"Hey, Blackfire!" Kuroo replied, pulling me into a friendly hug. Kenma and Lily waved, both smiling warmly.

"Where's Tsukishima?" Lily asked, glancing around.

"He should be here any minute," I replied, checking my phone for any messages from him. Just as I was about to text him, I felt a familiar hand on my shoulder.

"Sorry, I'm late," Tsukishima said, his voice slightly out of breath. "Got caught up with some last-minute prep for the volleyball booth."

"No worries," I said, smiling up at him. "We're just about to explore the festival."

As we started walking around, enjoying the various attractions, I noticed Tsukishima's demeanor changing whenever Kuroo was around. The tension between them was palpable, and it made me uneasy. Kuroo, being his usual outgoing self, didn't seem to notice—or maybe he just didn't care.

We played games, tried different foods, and laughed at the silly prizes we won. But every time Kuroo made a joke or put his arm around me in a friendly manner, Tsukishima's expression darkened.

Finally, it reached a boiling point at the ring toss game. Kuroo was showing off his skills, making everyone laugh with his exaggerated tosses. Tsukishima stood beside me, his jaw clenched, eyes narrowed.

"Nice shot, Kuroo!" I cheered, clapping as he won yet another prize.

"Thanks, Blackfire! Want one?" Kuroo grinned, holding out a stuffed animal.

Before I could respond, Tsukishima stepped forward. "That's enough, Kuroo," he said sharply. "Back off."

Kuroo looked taken aback, his smile fading. "What's your problem, Tsukishima? We're just having fun."

"My problem is you," Tsukishima shot back, his voice low and dangerous. "You're always hanging around Blackfire, acting like you own her."

Kuroo's eyes widened, then narrowed. "Oh, so that's what this is about? You're jealous."

"Jealous? Of you?" Tsukishima scoffed. "Don't make me laugh."

"Guys, stop!" I tried to intervene, but they were too focused on each other to listen.

"You need to learn to trust your girlfriend," Kuroo said, stepping closer to Tsukishima. "We're just friends."

"Friends? You wish," Tsukishima muttered, shoving Kuroo's shoulder.

That was all it took. Kuroo shoved back, and in an instant, they were throwing punches. Gasps and shouts erupted around us as they fought, fists flying. My heart pounded in my chest, and I felt a surge of panic.

"Stop it! Both of you!" I screamed, trying to pull them apart.

It took a few moments, but with the help of some nearby students, we managed to separate them. Both of them were breathing heavily, faces flushed with anger.

"You're both being ridiculous," I said, my voice trembling with frustration. "This is a festival. We're supposed to be having fun, not fighting!"

Tsukishima looked away, shame flickering in his eyes. Kuroo rubbed his jaw, glaring at Tsukishima.

"Let's just... take a break," I suggested, feeling tears of frustration welling up. "I'll see you guys later."

Without waiting for a response, I turned and walked away, needing some space to calm down. The festival that was supposed to be a day of fun had turned into a mess, and I couldn't shake the disappointment and anger bubbling inside me.
