I arrived at Kuroo's place, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. The music was already pumping, and the house was filled with people. I took a deep breath and made my way inside, searching for Kuroo.

I found him in the living room, chatting animatedly with a group of friends. When he saw me, his face lit up, and he waved me over.

"Blackfire! You made it!" he exclaimed, giving me a quick hug.

"Of course. I couldn't miss your party," I replied with a smile.

We chatted for a bit, catching up and laughing about old memories. Just when I was starting to feel at ease, a girl caught Kuroo's attention from across the room. He glanced over, then back at me with an apologetic look.

"Hey, I'll be right back. I need to talk to someone real quick," he said, before heading off to join her.

I tried not to let it bother me, but as I watched him walk away, I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. Sighing, I decided to explore the party on my own.

As I wandered around, I stumbled upon a girl sitting alone in the corner, looking just as out of place as I felt. She had striking blue hair and a friendly smile. I approached her, hoping for some company.

"Hey, mind if I join you?" I asked.

She looked up and smiled. "Not at all. I'm Lily, by the way."

"Blackfire," I replied, sitting down next to her.

We started talking, and before long, we were laughing and sharing stories as if we'd known each other for years. Lily was easy to talk to, and I found myself relaxing in her presence.

Hours passed, and I was genuinely enjoying myself. But then, out of the corner of my eye, I spotted someone who instantly shattered my good mood.

Tsukishima.

Why was he here? This was Kuroo's party. I stormed up to him, my anger rising with each step.

"What are you doing here?" I demanded, glaring at him.

Tsukishima looked up from his drink, a smirk forming on his lips. "Nice to see you too, Blackfire. I'm a mutual friend, remember?"

I clenched my fists, trying to keep my temper in check. "I don't care. You need to leave. This isn't your place."

He laughed, the sound grating on my nerves. "Relax. I'm just here to have a good time. Maybe you should try it sometime."

"You're such a jerk," I spat. "Why do you always have to ruin everything?"

He stepped closer, his smirk widening. "I could say the same about you. You're always so angry, always looking for a fight. Maybe that's why no one really wants to be around you."

The words stung, and before I could stop myself, I grabbed a drink from the table and poured it over his head. The liquid cascaded down, drenching him completely. Gasps and murmurs filled the room as everyone turned to watch.

Tsukishima's expression darkened, but I didn't wait for his reaction. I turned on my heel and stormed out of the house, my heart pounding with a mix of anger and humiliation.

As I stepped outside, the cool night air hit my face, but it did little to calm me. I walked quickly, trying to put as much distance between myself and the party as possible.

"Blackfire, wait up!" Kuroo's voice called from behind me.

I stopped and turned, seeing him jogging to catch up. "What do you want, Kuroo?"

He reached me, slightly out of breath. "I saw what happened. Are you okay?"

I shook my head, tears of frustration welling up in my eyes. "No, I'm not okay. Why was he even here? I thought this was your party."

Kuroo sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I invited a lot of people, and he came with some friends. I didn't know he'd cause trouble."

I took a deep breath, trying to steady my emotions. "I just wanted to have a good time. Why does everything always have to be so complicated?"

Kuroo looked at me with sympathy. "I'm really sorry, Blackfire. Let's just go somewhere else, okay? We don't need to let him ruin our night."

I nodded, grateful for his support. "Alright. Lead the way."

As we walked away from the party, I felt a glimmer of hope. Maybe things were complicated, but with friends like Kuroo, I knew I could get through it.
