Broken magic

The mirror shattered. The pieces scattered. The blood splattered.

How could it come to this? Was it all a mere mirage?

Lovely twilights spent sharing secrets, sweet dawns embracing each other
They all vanished like stars after the sunrise

I can still see your tenderness in the broken pieces, your timid smile, and the batter of your eyelashes

You're still the same. Dark pools of unspoken words gaze at me from a distance. Why are they scared?

Everything remains the same, everything but me. The flowers that were my words withered, the honey from my lips went bad, and the fragrance of my heart has gone stale

    I'm no longer glowing moon
My melodies are no longer sweet
All that's left of me are ashes
    And broken magic.
