The sea

   You watched me grow, you watched me laugh and watched me cry. You embraced me with your cool arms, you rocked me, we played together.

   You watched me fall in love, you watched me build friendships, and just like your waves you watched it all go away.

    My memories are within your salty soul, my heart healed within your waves, everything comes and goes just like the water to your shore. You're my teacher, my friend, my old family member...thank you sea.
