Poem Away (Poetry Collection)

My cat

     You were cold and distant at first, but I wanted to come closer, give you a hug.
    
     You scurried away if I got too close, you were scared and at the same time curious.

      Slowly I relaxed and let go, without chasing you around. Like that you started to trust me like I hoped for, you came closer to your own accord. 
  
      Finally you hugged me, you were stiff but I loved it and kept hugging back. Today you're here with me, you happily purr when you're in my arms, you're my cat...my husband, the love of my life.

   Human body, feline soul, a pure heart and my plan for a beautiful new start.
