You won

You left, I saw you walk away. Your hair waving behind you, the way your hips swayed, and then you were gone.

It wasn't raining, the sky was bright, sunny, and blue. Were those warm rays mocking me? Smiling as my world shattered around me?

You walked away taking from me your lips, your warm embrace, your contagious laugh, everything that made me smile... everything that gave me energy to keep going.

So I watched you walk away, without being able to scream, without being able to say anything. I love you, how could I stop you from leaving?

The image of you walking away was your last gift to me, your last curse. You left me lorn, you left me torn, you left me worn, did it ever feel like you won?
