The pain rips through my body once more
Raw, burning agony cripping up my spine
I wish I knew how to handle this from before
But all I can do is to grit my teeth and whine
I hate to see you worried, I hate to complain
Your arms wrap around me so I'll endure the pain
How I feel while you're here is hard to explain
Each kiss and loving whisper makes me smile again
Isn't this magnificent? I think as our lips meet
I'm always in pain but with you it's bittersweet
