After I got home last night I texted Dylan and asked him if we could meet at the beach in the morning so I could talk to him, he didn't end up answering said text until four in the morning but it's fine. He said we could meet at 11 and it's currently 10:30 so I should start heading there.

I walked onto the beach and it wasn't that packed. I found a good spot that was empty and laid down a blanket for us to sit on. After about 5 minutes he walked over to me and sat down next to me without saying anything

"I have a question," I say turning to look at him "What is it?" He says still staring ahead at the water "Why did you leave yesterday?" I say not wanting to know the answer

"Tate, listen I like you I really do but I see the way you are with Conrad. I'm never gonna be able to live up to the way you look at him," He said now staring down and playing with the sand "Dylan, nothing is going on with Conrad, and me. I like you." I say

"but you don't like me the way you like Conrad," He says now looking at me "What Conrad and I had is long over, I fully ended it when I knew I wanted to be with you," I said still staring at him

"I went a hooked up with a girl yesterday," He says breaking eye contact and looking down "I figured," I say also looking away "I am sorry," He says

"Can you still be my escort tomorrow and then after that we can end things," I say "Yes, I wouldn't want you dancing alone," He says while letting out a light laugh

"Tate, I am truly sorry," He says before walking away. Today Taylor was leaving so I wanted to get back before she left so I grabbed the blanket while shaking off the sand and made my way back to the house.

"Hey, there you are," I heard Conrad say when I walked back into the house, "I'm about to take Taylor and Belly to the bus stop," He says

"Okay, where are they?" I ask him "In Belly's room," He says "Thank you," I walk toward the stairs

"I'm gonna miss you," I say while hugging Taylor "I'm gonna miss you, too," She says while holding onto me

"Oh and I and Dylan ended things," I say before letting her go "Why?" Belly says confused "He thinks that I'm still hung up on Conrad so he went and hooked up with another girl. He's still gonna be my escort for tomorrow but it just sucks cause I really did like him," I say while sitting on Belly's bed

"Well he's a dumbass and you were too hot for him anyway," Taylor says while sitting next to me "You ready to go?" Conrad says while walking into the room and looking at Belly "Yup," Taylor says while grabbing her bag and they walk out the door "Keep me updated," Taylor says while leaving

"You not coming?" Conrad said "Uh, no I kinda just wanna relax," I said while giving him a half smile "Okay, want me to pick up ice cream on our way back?" He asks already knowing just by the way I am that something happened "yes please," I say

"Still the same order?" He asks "Yes. Thank you," I say while standing up "You're welcome, Tate," he says before walking out the door

"here you go," Conrad says while walking into my room and handing me my ice cream "Thank you," I say while sitting up "What are you doing?" He asks while standing next to my bed

"watching a movie," I say while bringing my laptop in front of me "what movie?" he asks "Harry potter," I say

"Sit down," I say patting the spot next to me on the bed knowing he'd want to watch it with me "Okay," He says while walking to the other side of my bed and sitting down

We watch the first three movies before Susannah called us down for dinner after we ate we went back to my room to try and watch the last 5 movies but we fell asleep halfway through the 5 movie

"Good morning, guys." Susannah says while walking into my room and waking Conrad and me up "Oh, my God. Am I late?" I ask shooting up out of Conrad's arms "No, you're fine," She says while smiling at me "Connie, get up," She says while patting his back

"I am up," He says while rolling over and his eyes half open "Now why did you sleep in here?" Susannah asks while giving me the look "we fell asleep watching Harry Potter," I say letting out a light laugh

"Okay, well are you ready for the big day?" She asks while running her hand through the ends of my hair "what if I fall," I say "Just hold onto Dylan's arm," She says laughing "He'll let me fall though," I say groaning

"Did I push you into this?" She asks while Conrad snores next to me "At first, yes but now I want to do this," I say and she pulls me into a hug "If you don't want to go you can always stay here," She says pulling away but still holding onto my arms "No, No, I want to finish this" I say smiling

"Okay well get him up and get ready," She says while pointing at Conrad and then leaves the room. I let him sleep a little more while I go into my bathroom and hop in the shower after I'm done I walk out in my towel expecting to see Conrad still asleep but he was just laying down on his phone

I walk over toward my dresser and pull out a shirt, underwear, a bra, and a pair of shorts before making my way back into the bathroom this time when I left the bathroom Conrad was standing up and stretching "You need to get ready," I say looking at him "I know, I know," He says laughing

"Well I'll be downstairs," I say before opening the door "hey," He says and I turn around "break a leg," he says looking down at me "That'd be bad I'm supposed to be dancing all night," I say chuckling

"Oh shut up you know what I mean," He says pushing my shoulder slightly "Yea, thank you," I say before leaving the room as soon as I got down there Susannah was already trying to push us out the door "Girls you need to leave," She says

"Who's driving us?" Belly asks "I think Tate can take my car," Laurel says while handing me the keys "Can I drive?" Belly asks why smiling "Yes, but be careful," Laurel says and I throw Belly the keys as she jumps up and down
