Rebekah sat in the Salvatore boarding house painting her feet, as she was waiting for her father, Mikael to wake up. She looked at his body before going back to painting her nails only for Mikael to gasp out, sitting up.
He slowly stood up, catching his breath after being daggered before looking at his daughter, who was watching him.
"Finally. Took you long enough." She said and he looked at her." Rebekah." He said, saying the name he hasn't said in a long time.
"Whatever fatherly rubbish your thinking, save it. Nothing you say matters to me." She told him and he looked down." I see." He spoke before getting up.
"Where's my dagger?" He asked, looking around for it." Elena has it. So you can forget your plans to use it on me." She said out of spite." you were never the one I was after." he made it clear to her.
"Nik was my family. If you were after him, you were after me." She told him." he blinded you, Rebekah. he killed your mother." he told her, and she immediately stand up in front of him.
"I know what he did. And he'll pay for it with his life. But Nik was not born a killer. None of us were. You did this to us when you turned us into vampires." she said, as tears threaten to fall out of her eyes.
She looked at the doorway to see someone there and Mikael turn around to see Axel, his son, standing there with tears in his eyes.
"Axel." Mikael said walking to him." Father." Axel said and glared at him." you destroyed our family. Not him." Rebekah said as she walked away out of the room." Rebekah." He said, but she was already gone.
"Son." Mikael started, but Axel interrupted him." Don't, you are our father and your hunted us all for death." He told him." I was only hunting Niklaus, I would never hurt you son. And you know I can't entirely kill you without a god's weapon, which is something that I will never search for" Mikael told him.
"He is my brother, do you expect me to sit here and watch you try and kill him?" Axel asked and Mikael shook his head." He is not your brother. He is not your blood." He told him.
"Just because we don't share the same DNA doesn't make him any less. He is my little brother and I won't let you touch him." Axel said and Mikael had tears in his eyes.
"I never meant to hurt you." Mikael said." well you have for thousands of years. So whatever plan you and that group has, just know I will stop you." Axel said and he was soon gone.

Axel came into his sister room to see her in her homecoming dress crying on the bed. She looked up to see him coming in before speeding towards him, hugging him.
"What are we going to do?" She asked through tears." everything is gonna be okay." He soothing her." I'm scared." She told him honestly.
Axel was used to this, Rebekah may be 1000 year old original vampire, but she was still his little sister. His family needed him right now and he wasn't gonna go anywhere until he knows they're safe.
