DAVINA'S POV:

I cried myself to sleep on my bed. It's been two days since my family was able to get me back to normal. As a result, all of my emotions flooded back at me at once. The death of Robin, my transformation into a god and killing my mother and other supernaturals, and the murder of Caroline's friend, Ryder.

I couldn't take it anymore, all the terrible things I'd done. I heard the door open and didn't bother looking as my father sat on the bed next to me. He gave me a frown as I remained silent.

"Hi, Davina." He said this as I laid there staring out the window. "Look, what happened to you, wasn't your fault." He said, and I turned to face him. "But it's my fault that people died at my hands. How could you let me get away with it? Caroline must hate me for it." I told him and burst out crying.

He gave me a frown before pulling me to his chest and hugging me. I just sobbed in his arms, remembering all the people I'd killed.

"Caroline will understand one day, but for now, let her mourn. I want you to know that I am always there for you, no matter what. I would gladly bear the burden for you." I looked at him as he said this.

My father was the best father in the world. But I knew I had to bear my own burden.

"Where is Aunt Rebekah?" I asked, and he gave me a frown. "She's scrubbing up all the blood." I nodded as he said. "What about Caroline?" I was hesitant to ask about her. "I'm not sure, she wanted to be alone." He added, "I knew she couldn't stand being in the house with a murderer who killed her friend." He said and Davina looked down.

Like father, like daughter. Axel killed Matt and Davina killed Ryder.

"And she would have been a hypocrite. Did I ever tell you about the time I murdered her friend in Mystic Falls?" He asked, and I looked at him, stunned. He murdered someone she cared about, and just they're still dating.

"I had no idea." I said, and he gave me a sad smile. "Well, it happened. Me and her weren't dating at the time, but she despised me. But I eventually warmed up to her and she returned my feelings." He spoke as if he remembered it like it was yesterday.

"But my point is, give her some time, and she'll forgive you." I nodded as he said. Before leaving the room, he kissed me on the cheek. When I looked in the mirror, I saw that my hair was a mess. I looked like a total mess.

I went to the restroom to wash my face. When I was finished, I went downstairs, only to be met by Caroline. I tensed up as her gaze locked on mine. I could tell she was still in a lot of pain.

"Caroline." I spoke in hushed tones, knowing she could hear me either way. "Please don't, Davina, not know." I frowned and looked down as she spoke. "I'm sorry Caroline, I never intended for any of this to happen." I said, and she nodded, but she didn't even make eye contact with me.
